DESIGN | Diana Studios Colorful Condo.

Diana Studios is a boutique design firm founded in 2009 by principal designer Beth Diana Smith. Based out of Northern NJ, Diana Studios caters to the tri-state area with design services that range from full scale renovations to prop styling and event planning. Beth, who has a masters in Accounting, had spent years in corporate finance before eventually changing directions and realizing her true passion was for design. Photographer Frederik Vercruysse shot this 1950's modernist house in Saint-Forget, France. It was designed by André Wogenscky, a noted architect who worked with Le Corbusier for 20 years. I LOVE how this photographer shoots interiors, in general, and this shoot is so nicely done. I've mentally filed this away for future use. There are some pinners on pinterest that without fail take me down a rabbit hole of awesome. The people behind Imperio jp, a luxury accessory maker, have the best freakin eye, I cant get enough of their boards. (Cant even believe I'm talking about this, because ugh, social media talking about social media... so boring already. But I feel like credit must be given where it is due.) Design // A New Traditional Apartment in NYC.

I was just sent these fresh off the presses photos of a renovation completed by Design Development NYC of a 2400 square foot apartment in the Art Deco building the El Dorado on the Upper West Side. The space was filled with charm but needed modernizing and updating. Design Development NYC custom designed moldings and doors in their woodworking mill in Long Island City to restore the character of the apartment.
