Um, have you seen this hotel? The Line? In LA? SO GOOD. The mid-century building was designed by Daniel Mann Johnson + Mendenhall in 1964, the same architects behind the iconic american cement building down Wilshire Blvd. The building has been restored and renovated, with public spaces and guest rooms designed by Sean Knibb. The Line is a neighbor to Koreatown’s famous pre-1940 brick colonial revival buildings in one LA’s busiest neighborhoods.
I can’t even tell you how much I love that slip covered chesterfield look. And the cementi-ness. Normally that could go bad/cold really easily, but the warm and coolness of the furniture more than warm up the space, not to mention the texture and color of the cement is divine.
