Light Stalking.

I went to NJ for the day yesterday to pack up some clothes for Art Basel, the crisp winter light was just DIVINE, and I managed to sneak in a riding lesson. Lo and behold, my horse (not “Mine” exactly but the horse I ride), has a winter coat like a polar bear, and the day was amazing for riding and photography. Everyone knows the light is different during winter, but just how its different and the things is does feels intangible. When you look at it through a camera its just amazing. Can I also add that driving two hours on the highway each way listening to Alt Nation was highly enjoyable?

I miss the country.

  1. Your horses coat is just divine. The second and third pictures have to be my favourites.

It was amazing. I wanted to bury my face in it! But, since I’m super allergic and need 2 Zyrtec to even go riding, that would have been a bad idea!

  2. What camera do you use? I love these photos.

Thanks! I used an iPhone for the first two and then I used a FUJI X100 for the rest.
