I went to NJ for the day yesterday to pack up some clothes for Art Basel, the crisp winter light was just DIVINE, and I managed to sneak in a riding lesson. Lo and behold, my horse (not “Mine” exactly but the horse I ride), has a winter coat like a polar bear, and the day was amazing for riding and photography. Everyone knows the light is different during winter, but just how its different and the things is does feels intangible. When you look at it through a camera its just amazing. Can I also add that driving two hours on the highway each way listening to Alt Nation was highly enjoyable?

I miss the country.
