My friend Christian May, the amazing dude behind Maison 21 (decorative, but not serious) sent over this little powder room he designed for the California Home+Design Small Space Big Style Showhouse. Apparently, he thought I would like it. Hmmmm… now what gave him that idea?

Everything Christian does is pretty amazing… and this is no exception. I love his take on the classic black and white stripe, layering it over its self that way:  it looks like the latest Marc Jacobs show, actually. I’m pretty sure its just paint, so anyone with some patience and a good ruler could do this at home, theoretically?
