This is what happens when you buy thousands of kiddie plastic beads for a birthday party for a billion children(which was friday) and then your kids dump them out on the floor of your bedroom while you sleep. Yup. This. And even though I was mildly hung over and still tired- I thought the mess was kind of beautiful, and stopped to take some photos. I loved the first aerial shot of the beads- they almost look like people on a beach from above like that series of aerial beach photos that Gray Malin did. I was basically just having some fun… until I had to pick up every one. Out of carpet. UGH.
So yes, my weekend was kinda crazy! How was your weekends, folks?

I think it speaks volume of your character that you were able to see beauty in what a lot of people would have seen as another mess to clean up that their kids made. I know most days that is my frame of mind. Lesson learned! Thanks for sharing.
