I’ve told you guys a bunch of times that I have SUCH a love/hate relationship with the NYIGF. On one hand: FURNITURE! DESIGN! YAY!!! On the other hand: Chaos, aisles and aisles of stuff, impulse buying expensive things and the dreaded Javits center… UGH.
The first few times you go, it’s heaven. By the 10th time… you can spot a new piece in a collection or a new vendor’s booth from a mile away.
I did a quick run through of Pier 94 and I zeroed in on my favorite new pieces instantly.

Does someone want to buy my Made Goods stool in this same pattern (for a great price!) so that I can upgrade to these coffee tables? Perfect if you want a little bit of stripes but not the whole crazy hog. And then LUCITE SIDED FURNITURE by Design Legacy’s new line by Nancy Price. Amaze balls. And I never say that word. It’s got brass rods and straps holding it together. Fab. Capital F. Then, Pacific Connection (known for making those pretty lacquer boxes in an array of colors, came up with this print on a small lacquered side table. LOVE. Between that and the coffee table, its like you are living in a Celine ad:

Add in a piece of Bungalow 5′s new rosewood parsons tables, and a few swing arm lamps, and you’ve got yourself an awesome SKETCH42 approved living room.
Also noteworthy:
New shell headboard by Made Goods, the Chair version of the sofa by Design Legacy, and this AWESOME acrylic magazine holder. Those need to be filled with Elle Decors, don’t ya think?
Does anyone want to buy any of my current furniture so I can swap it out for new stuff? Ha! (I’m serious.)
And thats it, short and sweet. The best of the best, or basically, what I want to buy for myself… ENJOY!

That headboard is awesome!! Love the striped tables too.
Headed to Vegas today for the Mart. I feel the same way. Btw, I want your striped stool. If only I were closer. Darn.
Xoxo

I may interested in the Made Goods Stool–would be nice in my bedroom I am redoing.
What are you looking to let it go for?
Email me–
Also-are you still doing the leather tie dye pillows?
I would love your lucite tufted bench. Do you want to sell that? :)
That rosewood table is delish- I am totally loving this everything colored “rose” trend- love the color!
omg i love the striped nesting tables, where can they be bought?
Email me and I can help you order them. I don’t know what retail stores they are in yet.
Found the tables at Clayton Gray Home-but Nicole could probably get a better price so just wanted to mention they are here-they are really very cool.

(I hope its okay to post links!) It reminds me of this good book I read recently, The Night Circus.
We must have been shopping together at the NY show. Loved all those pieces. Hope to bring them into our shop in Spring
Obsessed with the sofa and chair from Design Legacy! They looked even better in person. I just wish i had somewhere to put them.
I have not yet attended the NYIGF, but I am considering exhibiting there this August. It is good to hear about your love/hate relationship with the NYIGF; definitely something for me to be aware of. I feel the same way about attending most large fairs: Milan Fair, ICFF, etc. I try and go as early as possible in the morning to avoid the large crowds.
Do you happen to have photos of your favourite booths from the NYIGF that you can email to me? I would love to see how other companies present their products, especially within the Accent on Design division.
Many thanks.
(Oops, I misspelled my website in the first response. Sorry!)
