Inspiration for a monday.
Im still technically on vacation (we escaped to NJ for the weekend), so I’m sharing the laziest of all posts… the inspiration posts. Even though these require minimal work, because I don’t actually have to draw a connection between the photos, or you know, make anything, aren’t they just what we are looking for on a monday morning? Something pretty to set the tone for the week? YES.
First, pastels, and color blocking… same as last spring, but a little better:
That mint green Acne sweater is EVERYTHING. Buy HERE. Its a great piece of “Spring” clothing that you can wear now, and also in May.
Speaking of mint:
Heaven is that chandelier. HEAVEN I tell you! The rest of the room is nice, don’t get me wrong, but that chand MAKES it. It’s an ultra feminine as a room though.
Now on to the masculine:
We saw this room last year, but its still most perfectly mascu-sexy room, if you like that kind of thing… and filed with expensive art too:
Like, maybe, with a few tweaks, it should be where Tom Ford lives? Instead of here?
And speaking of Tom Ford, an image from one of his ads… Gloomy, quirky, sexy?
And for some more yellow:
What an amazing idea for some DIY Art. Someone do this and report back. You could do it at the framer with mat boards.
A great example of framed scarves:
Layer your art:
Another room with amazing art, I think its from a show house that Paloma went to a few months ago: ![]()

I framed a scarf, it was INSANELY expensive. If you just mat and frame it, it droops within a couple months, so you have to have it sewn in. Turned out gorgeous, but very pricey.
I actually meant someone should diy those framed out squares with mat board, not the scarves, but thanks! Cant believe it would be that pricey to frame a scarf!
That last painting is by Lana Gomez. I stalked that exact photo a few months ago until I figured it out!!! She reminds me a little bit of you!
About framing scarves…I wonder if something classy like double-stick tape would help to keep things in place.
Oh- wow, I love Lana’s work. She’s awesome.
I am obsessed with the piece of art in the last picture!
holy obsessed with all of these, that first one is to die for!!
