Vintage addicts, sisters and blog duo Porter + Hollister Hovey just had their first interior design project EVER published in the NYTIMES.
Crazy. Crazy awesome.

The 2100 sq ft penthouse at The Edge in Williamsberg was purchased by a record exec who then hired the sisters to warm up the glass cube-y ness of it. I think they did a fabulous job. The apartment is still very clean, crisp and fresh, but the warm brown leather and strategically placed vintage pieces keep the place from looking to stark and one note. I think its an exceptionally well done mix between old and new!

All the photos were taken by Porter Hovey and were published in the NYTIMES. See more photos HERE. Check out Hollisters’s blog HERE as well as their new interiors site HERE.
Have a great Sunday!

Not one dead animal in plain view!
Seriously they did a great job.

I KNOW!!!!! I was looking for them… but none! They really did a great job of bringing the “antiquarian” look out of taxidermy/creepy and into the cool and livable.
the power of blogging is mighty indeed.
