Here is a glimpse of the amazing African tribal blanket I just picked up for Chez Batch’s bedroom:

Can you see how just this one blanket is going to inform the rest of the room? I can… The best part about this blanket, aside from the obvious, is that its big. Big enough to cover end to end of a king size bed. Most blankets only cover queen or full size beds and then you have to do the 3/4 of the middle of the bed thing. But this can actually tuck in on both ends!
As you know, Im loving tribal lately, and this blanket which is mostly black and white, but has this pattern down the center, is PERFECT. And if he gets sick of this look, he can just move it! Its actually also big and thick enough to be a dhurrie type rug. I see this blanket with white sheets, black super long baguette pillow. Finito. Single color painting above bed. (You know I love that.)
I bought it at the Ashione Gallery on 25th street. Have you all been vintage shopping on 25th street? Its Fun. With a capital F. They have more of these blankets(and they are less than $200 bucks!) but they aren’t on the website… You can visit their site, or call them. HERE.

OH wait, and also, THESE:

Good times.

This is perfect! You are so good at bachelor style. I’m dying to see the rest of the apartment.
Thanks! Maybe because I wish I were a boy;)? I also love mens clothes… meaning, menswear inspired clothes for women.
There is nothing else to see yet, or you better believe I would have posted it! Some of the furniture arrived, but until we get our custom couch, I really can’t post… a few more weeks!
