In 2003, Lenny Kravitz established a design firm… I honestly have no idea what his involvement is, but the firm definitely has his aesthetic all over it.
Im curious to hear what you all think about this project they did in Paris.
I cant judge without knowing what the space looked like before they got to it. Did they just do furniture? Or did they design floors, moldings etc…
There is no doubt that the raw space is magnificent. These floors are HEAVENLY.
But what of the traditional edgy meets glam Philippe Starck at The Delano style decor. Yea or Nay?

I agree, without seeing the before its hard to comment on the after. It definitely has Lenny Kravitz’s personality all over. Not digging the furniture in the last photo. Maybe if they were in a different setting.
I don’t want to live there, but I’d definitely visit. I think I’d feel very sexy there. Strange, I know. But something about the colors, textures, and general boldness just makes it seem like a sexy place to be.
love the black and white scheme. i think its cool and elegant…then again, send me to paris ill live anywhere!
The architecture is amazing! Don’t love the polished marble floors, but obsessed with that fireplace.
Really interesting spaces. Dont love everything but love that fireplace and the black & white !

my friend used to work at kravitz design and may have worked on this…i know she used her french to communicate with contractors on a project! she told some good stories. i think the firm dissolved during the economic slump.
