The basic premise of all these DIY’s is to take camp lanyard stitches and upgrade your materials. For this I used this awesome suede in two colors: orange and lavender available HERE. I also purposely left the stitches a little bit loose so you could see the orange underneath it.

To be safe I would say 2-3 yards of each. Its really cheap so better to get extra!
