ETHOS: In which I wish I were richer.
I literally avert my eyes when I see these rugs, The Ethos Collection hanging in ABC Carpet.
Why? Because they can cost up to $30K. (Starting at $500 for a 2′ x 3′)
I know some of you are sick of ikat. But obviously, IM NOT!

30,000 for a rug! They are gorgeous, but if I ever felt like buying a rug for the price of a car, I probably would be too nervous to have any foot traffic going over it.
I don’t think I will ever tire of ikat…it’s a classic print, like a little black dress, I don’t think it can ever go out of style!
These are the most beautiful rugs I’ve ever seen. I let out an audible gasp the first time I saw them there. I would pay for one. My husband says NO way. Zero chance.
Ladies, it’s my mission to find a man willing to buy me one of these rugs (and of course marry me first). If it ever happens I’ll keep you informed!
I was going to leave a comment about how the second was my favorite, but then I fell in love with the first, and then third… well, you get the idea!

I wish I could afford one of these too- the colours/designs are stunning! I’m carpet shopping right now and they are just so $$$- frustrating.
that first one is stupidly gorgeous!…but i can’t say i’d turn any of them down. that is, if someone were gifting. because i’m afraid i’ll never have $30K sitting around for a rug.

My favorite is number 2, and that happens to be the one that cost 30Gs. And for the record, if I were going to buy a 30 thousand dollar rug, I dont think it would be one of these.
But I do wish these were cheaper!

I don’t know if I’d commit to it in a rug because I change my mind too often, but they are really beautiful!!!

They are all so good, it’s ridiculous. If number two was given to me, I would cry tears of joy. Seriously.
