Well, that’s pretty: Wallpaper Wednesday…

Is it Wednesday already?

I thought this first shot was so interesting… The combination of the chinoiserie with the Tom Dixon lighting and hte butcher block…interesting.

So I did a little digging around and found its source.

They are wallpapers by Fromental

I need to go see their NYC Showroom.

I’m totally digging this last photo too… The charcoal color keeps the whole thing current.

Thoughts?

Fromental is totally handpainted! (and v.expensive). The guy who set it up (Tim) used to be a big wig at De Gourney. They also do handpainted silk wallpapers that have sections which are embroided (as oppose to merely painted!). Amazing Stuff. (Their London showroom is quite close to where I live and I am in no way connected with the company!).

Is it?!? Wow. I was looking on their site and I couldn’t figure out if
It was or not, so I assumed it wasn’t! I’ll correct. Thank you!

  • Colette:

Very pretty paper. Personally for me, in small spaces still apply :)

    Love the last one!

  • Absolutely LOVE. That first image is a favorite of mine.

  • Marielle:

Gorgeous !!!!! love that first photo!

  • Dori:

Totally gorgeous love the blue and the dining room photo. Too bad it is sooo expensive!

  • A.S.:

Incredible. Is there even any pattern repetition at all? Looks like custom mural-work.

  • That first photo is breathtaking!

  • i LOVE that kitchen with all my heart.

  • Lily:

Your welcome! Do you remember Gwyneth’s much lambasted Tribeca apartment? The walls in Apple’s bedroom are covered in fromental butterfly wallpaper. The butterflies are part painted, part embroidered. Nice enough but silk wallpaper in a child’s bedroom? Crazy.

  • Wow, gorgeous, each and every one of them! The juxtaposition in that kitchen is great.

  • The 1st and 4th photo are so beautiful. They would also look amazing in a baby room.

  • Molly Marler:

O…..M….Gah! That kitchen is PERFECTION. I want that in my life. Once I hit the powerball, baby. Holy crap. Everything about it speaks to me. Perfect balance. Wowzers. (wonder if this is the same paper that we saw in the Mrs. Howard showroom at the Sferra party in atl…will have to ask J.)

  • That first kitchen is one of my all time favourites- Alcira first sent it to me and it went right into my reno inspiration file- adore the contrast of the tom dixon lights and chinoiserie wallpaper. This wallpaper is divine!!!
