Hey- I TOTALLY agree… This past 2 weeks has been really hard for me, my daughter has been home from school, there was an insane snowstorm and I had food poisoning for 4 days! Not to mention Im almost 8 months pregnant…. its not an excuse, but to be honest- I havent really left the house- or the bed- that much!!!! I feel like such a slacker… I know just posting some pretty pictures isnt equivalent to posting stuff I do myself. Thats why I tried to make the blog more conversational this week… to keep it interesting when I couldnt really leave the house!

Today I am going to pick out a slab for MIL’s kitchen- and installing most of the stuff in the bedroom- so I will take pictures of that!

And I was planning to go take pictures of my childhood bedroom- cause its a real hoot.

So- dont think you have to post anonymously- Im not upset. I TOTALLY agree, I have been thinking the same thing myself and I will get to work!!!!!!

Also- I have some surprises in store that I cant really talk about yet! But I REALLY hope this blog will get more interesting very soon!

  • Oooh, Nero loves naughty neon ;)

And hey, don’t apologize Girl, blogs are a commitment and a labor of love.
Most of us couldn’t possibly take care of a family, have a life AND fill 365 days a year with vintage finds and pithy DIY projects.
You just keep on keepin’ on and have a safe delivery with that baby.
    Cheers, Alcira

  • I for one am quite tickled to see pretty pictures, especially when they’re pink ones. Loved this! And looking forward to hearing about the surprises:) PS, I have no idea why or how but for some reason you weren’t on my blogroll- total oversight…wanted to let you know that you are most certainly added- love love it over here. xo

  • I agree with Alcira I don’t work, my kid is in school and still yet can’t seem to find the time to do everything I want to do. I think you are very committed to your blog and never fail to inspire on pictures. Your blog was amongst one of the first I ever bookmarked before I fully got into this whole blogging seen. DIY’s or not me still love.

Now I hate pink but that dinning room table I would so hump.

  • Neon pink anywhere and on anything is incredible. And cannot wait to see what you have in store for us!

Dont worry! For the record- I totally agree with you! When I posted the neon roundup yesterday morning it kinda felt like a cop out….

Im really not holding out on your guys- just that stuff takes a long time… Most of the projects I am working on are half finished.

  • I agree about neon. Love a touch in jewelry or fashion too. Just a touch not too much. J.Crew did a great job with this last season!
