This room: yes or no?
More info on the balls… Thanks to the readers who filled me in: Nicky Haslam is the designer… and there are some more shots of this room for us:

Anyway…. Crazy big ball moldings. Yes or no?

I have to say no – too Indiana Jones like for me, I’m worried if I step wrong they will all come falling towards me or something.
The great Nicky Halston (sp?)
I like the ceiling but I think the size of the balls on the walls are too big. Oh my, this is sounding just wrong, unintentionally! p.s. really love the colors
YES! Shades of concrete balls. Deck the halls!
I completely agree with etak. ceiling, amazing. balls, too big.
Hmmm, I’m gonna go with No. It looks too much like that dot candy on the paper!
Megan
Totally depends on what the purpose of the space is. Probably toooo much in a bedroom. OK in a foyer if it had the height to pull it off. I may be crazy, but I think this would be totally sexy in an opulent walk-in closet w/vintage vanities/dressing tables. I don’t think you’d be able to throw on jeans and a t-shirt in a closet like that though- you’d have to wear sophisticated cocktail dresses day to day
i can’t judge anything until i see the whole room. as of now it just looks too grandiose.
I give it a yes. Nicky Haslam designed it.
Octopus nightmare in a pinball machine, so NO!
I absolutely love these moldings and these doors are Chanelesque.
Hmmmm- mixed reviews on the big balled moldings. Im personally not so into it.
i was in this townhouse in london… its very cool
How and when? How was it?
Ohhhh I likey! might be a too-tight space for such big balls haha.. but I would duplicate this in my own house/projects..
