I dont even go to school, but who doesnt get so damn excited for a snow day? Crazy people thats who!

Cookie and I made a pitiful looking snowman behind our building but it was too pathetic to even post a picture.

Meanwhile I am back home snuggling up in this baby from Urban that I bought a few days ago…

{The trick to surviving pregnancy is twofold. You need to wear a tight t-shirt, to show your belly off and make you look pregnant, not fat, BUT you also need a loose sweater or vest to cover love handles and backfat. Because while having a big stomach is expected and cute. Backfat is never cute. EVER. Also beware of wide back…. you would be surprised how wide you can get! }

Also snuggling up in these:

A huge batch of socks that enticed me at the checkout at H&M. I dont usually even buy my own socks, I just steal from my hubs… But these were too cute to pass up and are keeping me toasty right now. They are men’s btw. 10 pairs for $12.

And last, I plan on baking cookies with Cookie later…. My how I hate saying that.

The best chocolate chip cookie recipe EVER is the original  from Nestle Toll House:

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter or margarine, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large egg

1 (12 ounce) package NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

I like to add a little extra sprinkle of sea salt because I am a hormonal beast and my body craves salt and sugar at the same time.
