A little bit of these are coming my way…

Tomorrow.

All my doors are going black.

Just FYI people, picking a black paint is as hard picking a white.

I chose BM Black Tar in high gloss. VERY VERY excited!!!

Wow!! I love the look, but don’t have the guts to try it in my own house…yet. Are you doing all closet doors and everything? Can’t wait to see pics.

  2. Great choice! You will not get bored. And a black door gives an air of formality which is a great backdrop for any style! Like the best lair of jeans it’s your go to!

  3. It was supposed to say pair!! Poor typing skills!

  4. I sooooo want to do this- Are you doing every interior door? I can’t wait to see final results- I’ve done my front exterior door black but am tentative about which doors to do inside. Good luck and again, can’t wait to see!

Yes. All of them except the side that face into the babies room and the bathrooms. BLACK!!!! Crazy.
And because I have black in the bedroom, I kinda had to match that black. OR at least make sure it wasnt totally off…

  5. Post those pictures as soon as you finish please!! I’ve been thinking about doing the same but can’t pull the trigger!

    • Nicole Cohen says:

      Oh I definitely will!

Can you guys believe I am STILL finding things to do in this apt?

Fabulous. One of my best friends has almost black doors in her hall. With just a touch of chocolate. They are beautiful. You won’t regret this, and they will be easy to touch up when the toddlers bang into them all the time.

I love this! What kind of wood are your floors? We are building and these are exactly what I want.

    • Nicole Cohen says:

Hey! The floors are oak- stained a honey brown color. It was a mix of a few stain colors, so I don’t know what it’s called.
