The West Elm near Lincoln Center had this display in their window today in honor of fashion week… I loved it.
Very Project Runway… haha.
Why NYC will always be the best city in the world.
Wow, did they use shredded paper to do that? I love it! Amazing creative people, of course it’s New York!
Yea, but I also think they used some of their own products to make it… like they took apart a basket.
Hi- The dresses were designed and built by (L to R): Jorge Dieguez ( made of baskets ); Craig Lumsden ( made of burlap and natural grasses); Rachel Plotkin ( made of recycled catalogs and paper). Craig and Rachel are part of the visual team at West Elm. Dresses were made from items found in The store.
Thanks for the info! You were one of the designers? Great job!
