Meet the Krakoffs…
I know, I know… we already met them, but I have way more information for you today. A whole comprehensive little photo gallery of this couple.
Who are they? Reed and Delphine Krakoff. He is the creative director of Coach, she is an interior designer. They collect art.
Today I decided to write about Reed because I saw someone wearing this shoe:

$950
It’s a Reed Krakoff… Apparently, Reed has gone off on a solo career. This shoe is horrific, but his new line aint all bad. I actually really like his new bags:
(If this bag weren’t 7 grand I would so be buying it!)
$1090
You can get them online and at his new store on Madison Avenue.

Here is Reed in his office…
That painting looks familiar! Looking through a lot of their photos it seems like they shuffle their art around a lot.

The Alexander Liberman’s dot painting now hangs in his townhouse. (Unless he has more than one?)
Meet Delphine, she is the interior designer wife behind the man.
(That hideous crocodile chair is also later repurposed.)
I think her work is actually pretty decent…
Their home in the Hampton’s was featured in Elle Decor:
The dinette is semi-famous. You know you have this image saved somewhere!
Some more of her work:
{This dining room SCREAMS Upper West Side to me. And thats where it is.}
Once again… they buy multiples…

She also loves a fur throw on a bed.
I cant say I blame her, this picture is heaven.
They live in an 18,000 square foot house that Delphine refers to as “the mansion” on her site, Pamplemousse Design. Let’s see some of it:

See the croc chair again?
I found the mansions living room with two different paintings hanging over the sofa…

I MUCH prefer the black and white painting, but what do you think?
Dont you wish you had a huge collection of art to shuffle around? And dont you wish you could throw out that horrible chair? Ugh!
Do you love or hate them? I’ve heard it both ways…
