You saw it at #nategate: House of Brinson

Since Nate didnt mention the name or blog of the person whose home he featured… I will.

The blogger featured was Susan Brinson of House of Brinson.

Her loft is awesome, and I totally missed the chance to go party there with the coolest of the nate bloggers. No worries cause we are gonna hook that up later.

The Brinsons are major DIYers and did it all themselves…

Those windows…WOW. A little more fem in the bedroom.

That light fixture is the ultimate DIY project!

Black walls, I love you… Industrial chic, I love you too.

Saddle hooks from stables bought on ebay and painted black.

Black and brass, I love that combo.

Antique knife collection anyone?

See the rest of the apartment HERE.

And here is the list of bloggers that made it through hell and high water to #nateday921 now also referred to as #nategate. Just so you all know, meeting the bloggers was the best part.

I’ve seen this loft before and love it more every time I see it. On the subject of Nate’s show: what a piss off. And lost opportunity. The only thing I can think of is that his production people hurried into this show because they weren’t sure how much longer it would be on the air. I don’t know, I haven’t seen it, but I see many others are saying it’s not so good, Anyway – that’s no excuse.

  4. yep. its awesome. she should have got way more of a shout out. So nice to meet you. Lets hang.

  8. Nate lost a big oppurtunity to show a beautiful home that showed many idea’s that viewers could take away for themselves, plus he now has a lot of angry bloggers instead of happy- bad PR!
