My MIL has this gigantic stone table with brass inlay in her basement. She wants to use it in her new apartment. Its old, about 30 years old. She kept telling me it was some kind of designer piece… So we googled the designer, Silas Seandel.

Check out this guy’s amazing work. Honestly, I have been dreaming about stuff like this and not finding it…. This one is kind of like the one my mother in law has…. I love these… the top is pewter. I DIE. Even better news: Everything is totally customizable. Yup.
Silas is in his 70s and still creating gorgeous furniture… Plus he has a cute little welcome video when you enter his site. 

My apartment definitely needs one of those amorphous metal tables. I would dump my coffee table in a second for those. But, I am trying to be practical and considering a single as a side table instead.

I knew those tables looked familiar… and this is why:
