I know everyone is going to be writing about this, but hey, what else was happening in the design world this weekend?

Emily, (HGTV’s new Design Star-duh) turned  this LA living room from this:
Into this: Via the most convoluted process possible that involved moving couches, coffee tables, a look revolving around FDR, repainting bookcases multiple times and chairs that moved through every room in the house. In other words, kinda what normal people do but over months and even years.

In general, the show is chock full of VERY GOOD INFORMATION! Emily is super quirky, has no idea who the drummer of The Beatles is and she can decorate. I like.

So far, the most interesting show I have ever seen on HGTV.
