Zilch! It never flowered again!
I cant believe they came back!!! I dont buy orchids because I always end up with a stick in a pot and I sit there watering the stick for months hoping it will come back and nothing happens.
Yeah, this is a killer tip (I accidentally discovered it a few years ago too). Only hitch is, around major holidays they dry up a bit, so don’t plan on an orchid and wait until the last minute if its Mother’s Day. I like to get the cheapy orchid and then get a great pot at Jamali Gardens in the flower district.
I dont know if they are always this cheap but Ikea was selling them for $12 a few months ago. I bought two and they lasted for months before I finally managed to kill them. But not bad at all for the price.
LOL I allways feel like a cheapskate but i stand there for like 15 minutes trying to find one thats a preety pink and that has a lot of leafs (the more leafs the stronger the orchid) so I make a huge mess but Im like whatever I got what I wanted
