Lucite + Paint = The best thing I ever made.

You know those moment’s where you think “Boy, the universe is lucky they have me?” Me neither. But that is how I feel about this tray. I am in LOVE WITH IT!!!

I now have six trays in my living room. I will sell or giveaway this one…. if anyone has any interest drop a  line here!

  1. agreed. it’s way good.

and I love the blogger tag sale idea. I had some sort of a trade-day idea rumbling around in my mind recently, too. so glad you gals actually took action! I may have to get in on the fun…!

  2. Thanks all!! Hmmm… Im gonna think about what I should do with it. Maybe a giveaway? My Etsy store sucks… its so hard to sell anything there!

Yes Hannah, spray bottle worked wonders!

  3. Who wants to commission me to do a lucite waterfall coffe table, console or end table. I am dying to make one, but I dont need it!!!!

    • Yea, I painted on the lucite. I still need to put a varnish or something on it, to protect it.

  4. I am flipping over that tray!!
Can I commission you to paint me a huge painting just like that for my foyer?!
    Love it…

  5. uh hi.
i read your blog, think your house is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever seen and i love everything you do. its like glitter and rainbows and unicorns for my eyes.
i’ll commission you to make me anything you could ever imagine and then i’ll gladly accept it as a gift and shamelessly tell everyone i know to buy everything in your etsy shop.

    deal?

kidding. but really, you are awesome. thought you should know!

  6. Hi, I have been wondering what kind of paint to use on lucite… what kind did you use for this? And also, is there a special varnish that you are fond of for protecting it on lucite as well?…any info would be helpful.

    Thanks!
