Eye Candy + Shoot the Stylist Game.

I saw this GORGEOUS home on my friend Garret’s blog Mythology, which you all should be reading. His Etsy shop is also amazing.

I love everything about this house, EXCEPT for….. What?

Do you know yet? It’s not the sofa- that sofa is killer.

That wall color is to die for and so is that fireplace painted matte black. Those chairs + that table + the white walls + the windows…amazing. I even like that piece of driftwood. That collection is what collections should be.

What do you think of the elephant in the room?
The map wallpaper? Good.  The hippo… I can deal with him. Props for the dining height table in the middle of the room. I like that. Square dining tables, what do we think of those? I’m not sure what that table cloth is, but I think I hate it. I do love all that wood on that wall .

Virtual Applause for the person who tells me what prop I want to move ASAP. NOW. Cant live with it in the room.

AHHHH I just cant hold it in: IT’S YOU, YOU BIG SILVER VASE! Move your big butt over, you are blocking the TV!

Ahh… that’s better.

  • Except I don’t see a TV?? I would actually put that big silver thing on the dining table and switch it with those orchids that would look killer on the coffee table.

Anyway, this place is TDF! And, I think, a fab example of how to to stage your room, even if you have a LOT of stuff, and not have it look overwhelming and cluttered.

I know. I was trying to be funny. That vase is great, but who would live with a gigantic thing on their coffee table…

    Anyway, the house is amazing.

  • great design… love the space!

  • I love that vase but it’s so out of context in the middle of the room.

  • i think the vast majority of it looks one piece of map wallpaper away from old world gay.

doesn’t anyone want to talk about the giant fucking row of karate chopped pillows on that couch?
what about the abundance of “stuff” in every inch of space?
what about the trunk AND ottoman? and yes, the flintstones sized silver urn in the middle of the room and then right next to the 2 sharp, crooked decorative ornamental stupid things??
and don’t even get me started on the too tall coffee table next to the 3 stupid orchid troughs on the other side of a wooden rhino..
    no nicole.
i think you have lost your decorating marbles here.

Hahaha- Jenny … I think I called this post: LETS SHOOT THE STYLIST! I thought there was a lot of strange stuff everywhere, BUT that vase was over the top for me.
