Remember my reader who wanted my advice on building a modern/vintage kitchen she wouldnt get sick of?
WELL, the recent development is that the entire first floor of her house has an original tin ceiling.
You pretty much cant avoid the industrial vintage/modern look with a tin ceiling. She decided to go with white cabinets and subway tiles and a grayish granite. I think that will look pretty kick ass with the tin ceiling. Now we need some killer pendants for over the island.
And who can forget the coolest project ever to be done with tin:
This room by White Webb from the Kips Bay Show house 2008. Its made from tin cans. I really wish someone would DIY a project like this and tell us about it.
