A few weeks ago I posted a roundup of some of my favorite beach bags for summer.

One of these bags was the Collina Strada Ferra Bag… Aviable for $268 from Urban Outfitters.

Two days ago, Hillary from Collina Strada emailed me and thanked me for mentioning the bag.

(Of course, I now feel super awesome about myself.)

Hillary and I got to talking and I started browsing through their collection.Not only do I love that Ferra Hobo bag in all its incarnations, I loved the styling of the photo shoot and I was mesmerized by that first backpack,  especially the leather detailing.  I also think this harness/vest thing is awesome. Part S&M, part equestrian… Im intrigued.  You know who this would look great on? Andrew Mukamal (Kelly Cutrone’s assistant on Kell on Earth, for those of you not obsessed with Bravo.)

Hillary invited me and all of you to this party downtown and gave me a little pre-party sale on one of her bags…

It arrived yesterday (The same day she sent it! Go FedEx!!!) and I am delighted. It’s made of the softest leather ever, it feels so sumptuous and that nude color is perfect. Plus it will make carrying all my mommy crap feel a little chicer.
