What makes my house a home?

A Perfect Gray posted this adorable photo from her home:

Its these little personal things in a house that make them more than just a hotel room. Its these things that make them Home.

I told A Perfect Gray I would participate in this, but I had to think outside the box because my apartment is new and I have only been living here for a year and a half. Even the furniture is new (except for the antiques!)

SO what makes my house a home, aside from all our clutter and crap, is this little girl. Here she is looking into her tiny closet. She LOVES clothes, shoes (shoe-ys as she calls them), purses and jewelry. So, in other words, she is NOTHING like me! But I think the key to being a parent is learning to accept your child for who they are, and not to project your expectations onto them. I guess that is easier said than done. But thats what I am going for.
Heaven & Home.
