Sunshine on a shitty day.
I’ve had a shitty day. In fact, I have had 2 shitty days. And by that I mean, they were literally shitty. You know those days that are so awful that they make you regret every decision in life that led you to this particular day? The day when you are standing in Central Park covered in someone else’s diarrhea? Yup. That was me. My baby got sick in Central Park. All over the place. I had to take off and throw out all of her clothes. My friend took a onsie off her son so that Cookie would have something to wear home. I had to take off my shirt and line the stroller with it so that she could sit in it for the walk home. It was sickening. Im still shaken up from it.
HORRIBLE. The diareah is the perfect consistancy to not absorb into a diaper and to not be held by a diaper. Delightful. The worst part is that she was so scared and in so much pain that she hugged me so tight that it sloshed all over me. Oh, the joys of motherhood!!!
ANYWAY!!! I am SOOOOO thankful to the ray of sunshine that Sarah of Flourish Design + Style and Becca of Rebecca June shot into my week by awarding me the SUNSHINE AWARD! Woohoo…. Nothing makes me happier than when people like my blog! (although, you non-commenters, I know who you are and I want to see comments! One of my friends told me she reads Sketch42 everyday, but only after she checks Accuweather and Facebook and real boredom sets in.)
I am supposed to pick ten blogs to send the award to as well. Hmmmmm…. I am choosing blogs that I have just started reading in the last few weeks… Some of them are new and some of them have just been hiding from me for all this time!!
