Summerize a Winter Room.

Do you summerize your decor? We all change our wardrobes, so why not our homes from winter to summer?

I am considering:

Slipcovering my sofa for Spring/Summer. My apartment faces south, so the sun blazes in and makes the apartment stifling and very bright. I am told that the sun will shred all my upholstery if I dont cover it in the summer. But, honestly, I really like how these loose slipcovers look anyway.

How do you summerize your home? Switch out pillows? Put away wintery throws? Change the artwork? I want to hear it!!
