To sum it up, if you are a skier, Park City is the perfect place to hit for a gorgeous 4 day weekend. Direct flights are available from most major cities, and the ski areas are only 30 minutes from the airport. So we  were able to ski all four days.

Next, the new St. Regis is one of the most GORGEOUS hotels I have ever stayed at. It reportedly cost 350 mil to build and its set in the exclusive Deer Crest gated community. The pictures on the hotel’s website do not begin to capture the richness of the decor. Every chair was sumptuous…. Leather, mohair,ikat,  limed oak… I was in heaven! The decor was so appropriate, rustic without being to literal. There were no mounted animals anywhere.

The hotel is home to JG Grill, a Jean Georges resterant. This is a wine bar where the staff pours you free wine if you have to wait for a table. The walls are leather and the banquet was so beautiful.

It has ski in ski out access to the smallest of Park City’s mountains, Deer Valley. Make no mistake about it, this is probably the most luxurious mountain I have ever been on. Leather club chairs and

bloody mary’s & hot pretzels in the mountain ski lodges, granite bathrooms instead of port-a-potties… its awesome.

A fire pit. You can have lunch out there too. The pool & Jacuzzi. Nothing like sitting in the Jacuzzi drinking after a long day on the slopes. Bonus points if it is snowing. 

The town itself is so quaint. Plus, Park City has a ratio of about 30 men to 1 woman. I recommend it for bachelorette parties! This town sent 80 people to the Olympics and brought home 18 medals!
