My new look for spring.

I pretty much wear variations on the same outfit every single day. A uniform, if you will. For the past 3 years it has consisted of: Skinny jeans tucked into boots, with a t shirt or sweater , maybe an embellished belt and a leather jacket, fur vest or whatever coat the weather forces me to wear.

Today, I was shopping and all I was picking up wear blue & white striped  sailor shirts and worn brown leather jackets. I look at myself and lo and behold, I am wearing a blue and white striped sweater and a vintage brown leather jacket. I need a change.

So my new look for spring is going to be slouchy, menswear inspired shorts and pants. I am not giving up on skinny jeans, I will still love them, but I will alternate between them and my new clothes:

I bought these pants from Zara, they are so slouchy and pretty on. I am a sucker for khaki.
I also bought these Leather shorts. They look really good on. Casual. I would wear them with a white t-shirt. Obviously, I am copying this girl: Olivia Palermo is the queen of sexy menswear.

Not loving how she looks in this last picture, but I will look hotter in my shorts.
What do you think? Will you laugh at me when you see me strolling around NYC in my new trousers? Also, does this look work with flats? Cause I really cant wear heels during the day unless I am going to a party.

Yea, I have been meaning to go there lately.

How lame am I that I have to plan in advance what I am going to be wearing for the next 4 months?
