Go Try Mâche Salad

This is my new favorite lettuce and I am predicting it will be the next big thing in lettuces. Even though it may not seem like food could be trendy, foods are just as trendy as anything else!  Remember when smoothies were a big thing? How about when wraps were all the rage? Individual foods like chilean sea bass, edemame, seared tuna all have their days in the sun, and I am predicting a bright future for this nutty and fresh lettuce. TRY IT, YOU’LL LIKE IT!!

Available from Fresh Direct Via Satur Farms. They said this about it: Although mâche (pronounced mosh) is a sweet, nutty plant that’s been cultivated in France since the 17th century, it may just be the next big thing in gourmet salad greens.Kids love the mild flavor (not to mention the fact that it’s also called “lamb’s lettuce”) and we’re just crazy about these leaves in lightly dressed salads.
