Through none of my own merits, I sat front row last night at the Karen Sabag fashion show. Sitting front row is great, you really can see all the flaws!

She showed some really beautiful clothing, expertly tailored and with gorgeous silhouettes. Primarily known for her Bridal Collections,this collection was shown in two parts: first a collection of separates and cocktail dresses, followed by a group of bridal gowns.

Some of my favorite pieces included the feathered skirt and dress, the shorts suit and the jacket with the feathered arms. There were many more looks but here were my favorites:

I know the 90′s are supposed to be coming back, but do we have to bring back sheer black tights? Come on, please no! I hate tights altogether because they are a form of torture, although I made an exception for super thick opaque tights because they were semi-comfortable and almost like leggings. But these sheer yucky ones! NO. From the front row it looked like the models had hairy legs under those shiny shimmery tights. America’s Next Top Model CariDee English wore the final look of the evening, an intricate, modern and super cool wedding gown. I know CarriDee is supposed to be the big name model wearing the last and best dress, but I didnt dig her. She has a tattoo on her shoulder and she was holding up the dress in a way that made her look very militant. I know it was probably ’cause she would have fell on her face otherwise, but still. 
Congrats to Karen, who looks like such a sweet girl, and I am assured by those who know her that she is… She turned out a beautiful collection full of clothes that are wearable, funky yet simple, elegant yet young and definitely special!
