Evan Lysacek is hot.

And so are his costumes… Not only is this guy drop dead gorgeous, with a body to match, but he seems to be the only skater with a cool costume. He dresses like a super hero, and now with a Gold Medal under his belt, he almost is one!

This is the costume he wore for the Short program. Black on black, with sequins, sheer cutouts and feathers at the wrists. I love how tall and lean he is compared to the other skaters. He is 6’1!! That’s a whole lot of man to lurch into a triple axel!

This is him after winning the Gold tonight. His costume was really spectacular once again. Simple black with a few crystal encrusted snakes wrapping around his body.

And guess what: They are awesome because they are designed by Vera Wang, who said this about him:

“He has a beautiful line and he’s learned to use that line and I think he was very conscious of me wanting to preserve that line.” The costumes for both programs are black, “a sleek and sexy color,” [Lysacek] says. “It was exciting and really cool that she took so much interest and really took pride in this project and took it on full steam.”

Both his costumes and his performance were brilliant!
