I don have my computer or Wifi, so you have to excuse my posts until Wednesday. They may be shitty.

In case you were wondering what to call this past decade, they are calling it the Aughts. Dont ask me why, because I have no idea.

What do you guys think are the best and worst interior design trends of this past decade? I was in high school ten years ago, then I was wearing baggy corduroys and 30 extra pounds in college for 4 years, so I have no idea what was happening in the world before 6 years ago…

Lucite?

Wallpaper?

Skins & Hides?

Hardwood as the only acceptable flooring?(mostly)

Stainless steel?Lacquered furniture?Zen?

Master Bathroom as Spa?

Antique Revival aka Vintage?

Whimsy and Humor in design?

As for me… Im still liking the same things I have always liked: interesting, graphic patterns… aka zebra and wallpaper and hating the other stuff… like beige, zen and tuscan.

How bout you guys? What are you going to embrace in 2010?

I hate Tuscan too! It is all over Dallas-Ft Worth and I a so over it!

I don’t care for Traditional, Tuscan. I find them really boooring and too predictable. I’m still not loving wallpaper, as I grew up with it and saw everyday of my life for 30 years… I like paint more. I’ve always loved any and every shade of turquoise, and I don’t thin I’ll ever tire of it. Japanese accents are also all mine. Antlers, please go away.

I dont like zen either- it looks like westin hotel rooms. I happen to love paint that gives a textured finish, or a textured wall paper. pink will always be my favorite color and i can still hope that maybe someday my husband wont mind having a pink master bedroom.
