What do you think:
I want to make a little cork board information center in my kitchen. You know, so I can post schedules for the gym, the baby’s classes, invitations…. I don’t just want some ugly cork showing, so I was going to make one with one of these fabrics. Also… I got a free sofa table, rescued from my mother in laws basement. Perfect size, not so perfect design. I was thinking to have a table cloth made for it from one of these fabrics as well. I really think the room NEEDS more fabric and that a skirted table will help the room feel fuller and more finished. Hopefully these modern fabrics will keep it from being too granny.
Cast your votes: Which should I use for each? Btw, they are in sight of each other.
I really like these fabrics from Schumacher. (But maybe the gray version better.) I think this would be cool for the cork board cause it kind of looks like I should pin things to it… Or scribble on it?
This one from Rubie Green would make the board look a little more organized…. Looks like its screaming for some yellow Post Its.
This one from KW at Lee Jofa would be hot for the skirted console or the cork board. Maybe my life pinned to that board would make me feel more chaotic….
This is the Lee Jofa I have been dying for. I wanted to do all my bedrooms drapes in this but it is WAY too expensive for that, I need 20 yards!!! Sooo now Im thinking this would make the most awesome table skirt….. Add some whimsy to what could be dowdy looking….
Or this one could be a hot skirt for a table or the cork board. You know KW sells napkins made out of these fabrics for $120 each? I was thinking that I could buy 1 yard, take it to my tailor and end up with 10(?) pretty napkins for $100. Right?

You’ve got some major decisions to make! I voted on the KW at Lee Jofa – yumm
Studio Bon. Fab fabrics.
