Ta Ta Lack!
When I first moved into my apartment, I had not a single scrap of furniture. So I went to Ikea for some starter furniture until I could figure out what I wanted to do. Some of the Ikea stuff has been given away to brothers, doormen, friends etc…. But some of it has stuck around quite a while eventually blending in with other furniture.
I am finally moving on up beyond the Lack coffee table. I had some brilliant ideas about painting it, or wallpapering it in white python embossed vinyl, but at the end of the day, the thing is such a rickety piece of crap that I just couldnt see putting anymore effort or money into it. For $39 dollars it has served me quite well, but its over now. (I still have the pink lack side table and shelves in my daughters room, but I like those.)
The Lack table was much beloved by the editors of Domino and Ikea hackers everywhere…

But its over for me… the lack below is soon to be no more!

what in the high water in hades are you getting to replace the lack?? something see thru? wooden? tell me!!!
Lol, I wanted to surprise you, buuuuutttt, Ill just tell you it is see through.
