Ever since I saw Sara Story’s work in the Kips Bay Show House a few years ago, I have been trying to copy it every chance I get! Her style is feminine but strong and very very glamorous. The above picture is from the woman’s office she designed for Kips Bay. Gray venetian plaster. Sick. Those floors. No words.

These pictures are from what I believe is her Grammercy Park townhouse. These were definitely in a magazine, not sure which. I really really love that dining room with its fuchsia ceiling.

Another thing she loves to do is the office nook. Which she does well. She loves accessorizing with Hermes Boxes, maybe because she loves the color Orange.

She does metallics like no one else. Love it!!

I want to be Sara’s BFF purely for the good presents she must give with all of those Hermes boxes everywhere. geez. I have to admit that Dining Room with the painted ceiling is one of my faves. I actually am currently using that flooring in a Master Bathroom for one of my clients and the picture does not even come close to doing it justice.
