A skirted table

I have this sad console table from my old apartment and its sitting behind my sofa as a makeshift sofa table and it looks pretty lame. Then I had a thought. A skirted table. It has occurred to others, Im sure, but never have I ever thought to use a skirted table. This gallery is to die for.Box pleats, linen and contrast trim seems to be the winning combination. tom-scheerer-foyerJanShowers_thumb3

I really like the ones with the edges laced together!

    GOOD LUCK!

You know, that did occur to me. I think thats why I like the pleated versions. Not as sheet-y looking. Gotta find a fabulous fabric first and like most of my projects, this will probably end up costing more than just buying a new table.

  • HA HA! That is what I try to tell my husband. Not to mention, we pretty much divorce each other anytime we do a home project together so I explain it is better for our marriage if I just BUY it!
