A Teen’s Dream Bedroom

My niece has enlisted my help in taking her bedroom from tween to teen. We started from scratch, except for her wallpaper and rug, which were both peach. She is really sick of peach, so we wanted to punch up her room with fun and youthful patterns and accents that will take carry her through her teens and hopefully she wont be embarrassed to come home from college in a few years. So, here we go!

A king size bed that will be upholstered in white linen with orange piping.

A Bungalow 5 desk, Arterior’s home lamp and a chair from Jonathan Adler make up one side of her bed. The bamboo chair will be upholstered in this awesome floral fabric that I found in Branzinelli.

The floral fabric will also be made into a bolster for the bed.

The other side of the bed will have feature a chaise from Jonathan Adler done in this aqua animal-esque print. Two orange linen x-benches from Ballard Designs will sit in front of the bed. 
Lucite shelving will stand behind the chaise to hold all of her books!
