Fake Loubs? Just say no!!!

Apparently, as I just learned via Good Bones, Great Pieces knock off Louboutains are now available on the web @ louboutinstain.com.

Latest styles, red soles, red shoe bag and an imitation box.

This is awful if you ask me. First of all, all knock offs are gross. I’m not talking about “inspired by” pieces you find in Forever 21, those rock. The actual crap they sell online and on the street that really pretend they are the real thing and are made by children in third world countries– those are yucky. I just hate the idea of trying to trick people into thinking I can afford something that is out of the budget. It screams POSER. And its immoral. Just as immoral as charging $790 for a pair of pumps. 

This faking of the Loubs is also a signal that they are passing their prime and heading into played out territory. That platform peep toe is so annoying already.

    Even if they look like the real thing, you know they have that horrible fake leather smell.

      Yea, I think so. I would feel insecure every time I put them on. Plus the cardboard-y leather is probably hell on the feet.
