One of the first projects I tackled in my new apartment was my daughter’s nursery. It’s so small and cozy, I had fantasies about turning this into the most delicate, adorable room.
I started with a wallpaper that I saw as a fabric in the Elle Decor spread on Cynthia Rowley’s dining room. I LOVED it the second I saw it, reminded me of my bedroom growing up, except in my childhood bedroom, everything from comforter to fabric-swagged-walls and ceiling matched.
I hope you like it, I love it…. though it does need a few finishing touches.
Here are some of the sources I used:
Cole and Son Hummingbird wallpaper- (only on one wall the other walls are pink & green)
I also had the fabric version of the paper made into a cushion for the window seat.
Dawn – Woven wood shades from the shade store

Netto Cabine Crib & Changer

Ikea Lack Shelves & Table in pink

Lou Lou Ghost Chair

Stark Carpet

The room is well underway and so adorable… pics are soon to follow!

I want pictures! This room sounds too cute in the best way possible! I myself just adopted a puppy. I named her Dorothy Mantooth (Anchorman) and now I am looking for the perfect dog bed for her.

Oh how cute!!! What kind of dog? I had to give my Shitzhu to my parents because when I got preg I became hideously allergic to him
If you can believe it, she is called a Dorkie. A mix between a dachshund and a yorkie. She is the sweetest thing ever!
